Cheryl Varghese

Cheryl Varghese is currently the Intervention Director for the Targeted Reading Intervention research project at UNC-Chapel Hill. Prior to becoming the Intervention Director, she worked as a literacy coach and research assistant for the Targeted Reading Intervention for the past five years. Her research interests center on teacher-child relationships, classroom quality, literacy interventions, children at-risk for ongoing reading difficulties, and children with learning disabilities. For fun, she enjoys spin classes and reading.
